The Tarantella Introductory Workshop

At the heart of this workshop is an attempt to convey a feeling for the dance and its cultural context, for which I draw on my own enthusiasm and experience of Tarantella and its music.

Learning some basic steps follows on more naturally once participants have a sense of familiarity with its rhythms and sounds. I will also introduce some of the regional variations.
