The ancient rhythms of the Tarantella drive the dancers further and further, for hours on end, until they gradually lose any sense of the ground beneath them, even of reality itself. This is dancing as if entranced, dancing as ecstasy-pure Tarantella, as known now to hundreds of enthusiastic followers in Berlin.

Now, you don't normally expect to find folk dances in a discotheque. Above all, my music mixes are not some "updated" version of the Tarantella, although admittedly I extend tracks, adding bass, rhythms and even special effects. All this, however, is done only for the specific purpose of emphasising the typical elements of classical Tarantella.
